Shwe Ywar Ngan Coffee Farm, Ywar Ngan, Myanmar | Su Nandar Linn’s coffee farm is located in Ywar Ngan in southern Shan State. A few years ago, her father U Win Aung Kyaw handed over his farm, which has existed since 1975, to his eldest daughter Su Nandar. She belongs to the youngest generation of coffee farmers who are breaking new ground, who, with their passion for experimentation and their quality awareness, have raised their coffee to the highest international level within a few years.

Thiha Gyawalie

Ruby Hills Farm, Mogok, Myanmar | One of our big Myanmar favorites comes as an organic fully washed from Ruby Hills Farm in Mogok. Thiha Gyawalie is one of the youngest coffee farmers in Myanmar and produces a great Catior there that has won several awards at a height of around 1500 meters. Thiha was one of the first coffee farmers in Myanmar to work purely organically on his coffee farm and was also certified. In 2018 he won the Myanmar Coffee Competition with 87 SCA points.

Lucas Argueta

El Pastal 1 in Honduras | Finca El Pastal I, owned by Lucas Argueta, is located in the middle of the Montecillos Mountains, north of Marcala in La Paz. Lucas is proud of his farm. Rightly so, because the coffee that he plants and harvests here at around 1,550 meters is among the best in this region. He has grown coffee plants of the varieties Catuai, Pacas and Caturra on his approximately 7 hectares of land. Pine, orange and citrus trees provide shade for the plants on Lucas’ farm. He and his 6 permanent employees worked the plantation by hand, mainly with machetes and hoes. Lucas employs 20 workers at harvest time. In general, coffee is harvested in Honduras from November to April. The cherries are then exclusively hand-picked dark red and ripe and sorted several times before they are further processed.
